The largest contributor to Global greenhouse gasses is our organic waste being improperly discarded. When we throw these in the regular garbage they are generally taken to a landfill and covered over by other waste giving it no access to oxygen. When it begins to break down in a non-oxygenated environment it produces methane which is 30 times more harmful than Carbon Dioxide. Mi compost is a community composter. We offer a solution to our organic waste problem. When we remove your organic waste, we process it through methods such as vermi-composting and anaerobic composting. These methods not only help by reducing the amount of greenhouse gas released but also provide highly nutritious soil that will help the environment in a multitude of ways.
